BOUTIQUE HOME CENTRE TERMS & CONDITIONS RETURN OF GOODS

● Subject to the Trade Practices Act or other applicable legislation or law no returns will be accepted on special orders, sale items, border tiles or discontinued lines.
● On receiving the goods the purchaser must check them for defects and breakages and notify Boutique Home Centres management within 48 hours of receiving the goods. No returns will be accepted after this time or without the prior notification of BHC management.
● Boutique Home Centre will only accept the return of undamaged goods if they are in full boxes, in saleable condition, match BHC current shade of stock (minimum 5 boxes of return) and are returned within 14 days of the date of the invoice with proof of purchase. The customer will be given store credit for the purchase price of the goods less a 20% storage, administration  and handling fee      .

Variations in the Characteristics of the Goods

● For all tiles, the Customer should inspect all goods prior to laying to ensure they are the correct colour and batch/shade.
● The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the goods sold by the Company may be subject to one or more of the following characteristics and will not be considered faulty,defective or of unacceptable quality due to the existence of such characteristics:

(a) crazing, or shade variations, which are an inherent feature of all kiln fired ceramics and natural stone;
(b) optical hazing or smudging which are naturally occurring characteristic of polished porcelain goods;
(c) reasonable variations in colour & veining in marble and granite goods, as these are natural goods and such variations must be expected;
(d) variations in sizing, weight, colour (including changes to colour over time), pattern, veining, texture, durability, density, surface and finish.

PAYMENT

● Deposit of 50% minimum required on all orders. Material will not be ordered until 50% deposit is received.
● Outstanding balances are to be paid 2 working days prior to the day of installation.
● BHC retain ownership of the goods supplied on this invoice until payment of the invoice is made in full.
● All Tiles/Natural Product contains natural variation in colour & grain, and cannot be organized or edited – a ‘random lay’ effect is normal.
● Any excess Materials remain the property of Boutique Home Centre.
● All installation is guaranteed for 12 months except for damage caused by accident or misuse.
● Overdue amounts will charged at 2.0% per week.

WARRANTY

● Ceramic tiles are not guaranteed against cracking, crazing, chipping or breaking.
● Marble and granite tiles are not guaranteed to the extent they are laid, used or cleaned outside the manufacturers guidelines.
● The goods are only guaranteed to the extent of any guarantee given by the manufacturer of the good
